BOLT / Tuscany Classic Motorcycle Tour 8 - 15 October 2023

This spring we were invited to partake in a new Motorcycle Tour around Tuscany organised by some old friends of ours under the banner of Ride 70’s. There were numerous things that added together to make this the trip of a life-time, the opportunity to ride some incredible motorcycles, the awe-inspiring scenery of Tuscany and of course the Italian food for a start. But what really made the experience so special was our hosts who had planned everything down to the last detail and who made sure everyone was having a great time all the time.

We have teamed up with Ride 70’s to offer the experience to our community with a route through the land of the Italian Renaissance. We love riding motorcycles, and we also love the food and wine that Italy has to offer so we have organised a trip that offers the best of both. Beginning in the Chianti region, we will be riding through the fascinating hills and valleys of the Tuscan countryside, visiting iconic towns and touring some of the most famous vineyards and cellars of Italy. Everyday we will enjoy food and wine tastings, learning with both our taste buds and bellies all that this fabulous region has to offer.

The Motorcycles

Choose from a fleet of fully restored classic motorcycles from the golden era of motorcycling in the 1970’s. As expected the Italians are well represented with Moto Guzzi’s, Laverda, Ducati and Benelli’s. A Norton Commando fastback and Triumph Bonneville T120 represent the British bikes with classic Honda, Kawasaki and yamaha from Japan.

The Trip

Experience some of the best motorcycles, roads, food, landscapes and good times Italy has to offer. This journey will see us ride through the most incredible Tuscany at just the perfect time of year. Not only will the big masses of tourists have unclogged roads and cities, but the climate will finally have turned just gorgeous to ride.
